Pink Santa Hat News
This coming weekend, we will be hosting our annual Pink Santa Hat Movement "pampered weekend" in Atlanta for ten educators who are undergoing treatment for breast cancer. This year's emcee will be Dr. Jackie Walters from Bravo's Married to Medicine. We are so excited to have Dr. Walters be a part of this special event. Her presence and support of our cause will help to make our organization more visible on a national level and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts!! We go to great expense to provide free services for ten women and fundraise throughout the year to make it the best experience possible. We appreciate all of the support we receive for this event, via your purchases at our online shop and community fundraising efforts and hope that you will continue to be a part of our team to help support our fellow teachers who are in the battle of their lives. Last month, we introduced our podcast, Confessions of an Educator. This is a place where our esteemed panel answers questions or concerns from our fellow teachers regarding this demanding profession. Teaching is not a typical nine to five job because it requires work outside of the classroom as well, We have chosen important and rewarding work that not only benefits our students, but society as a whole.
