Classroom Makeover with The Home Edit

Hello Everyone!! Lucky winner of the classroom makeover here…Let me just start by introducing myself in case you missed the Instagram story. My name is Alex Bricker and I am a Kindergarten Teacher in Collierville, Tennessee. This will be my fourth year of teaching and I have a feeling it is going to be the BEST YEAR YET!!

For the first time ever, I am getting to start the school year off without the stress of unpacking, rearranging, and organizing my classroom materials. This could not have been possible without the incredible giveaway from
The Wright Stuff ChicsThis amazing company gifted one lucky teacher the services of The Home Edit, and even sweetened the deal with a generous gift card from Hand2Mind and a Nugget Comfort couch for my classroom.
If you are not familiar with The Home Edit, they are known for their meticulous attention to detail and carefully considered systems that they put into every organizational project. I had the pleasure of working closely with
The Home Edit’s very own Shaina and Emily as they organized, simplified, and beautified my classroom!! They are incredibly talented and have an eye for making any space more functional…even for a teacher!
When Lisa, Shaina, and Emily arrived, I was worried they would be overwhelmed by the fact that my room was still all packed up the way I left it for the summer. My school was repainted over the summer and I was unable to get inside the building before the big day. Luckily, this was no match for The Home Edit’s organizing professionals.
I am honored to be the first classroom makeover done by The Home Edit. My colleagues have been in and out of my room throughout the process and they have made comments that this room has become inspiration to them and that I am so deserving of this gift. It has all been so encouraging and makes me want to pay it forward in some form or fashion.

I cannot thank Lisa with The Wright Stuff Chics enough for this incredibly gracious gift. Lisa, being a former teacher, truly knows the hardships that teachers face and the need for those who give back to the teacher community!
