Back to School?

It's August, and as the Covid-19 pandemic rages on across the United States, teachers and students who would normally be anticipating the start of a new school year are instead facing continued uncertainty. Some districts across the country are  testing the waters by returning staff and students to the classroom, while other districts will continue distance learning, mostly in hot spots where the virus is active. Experts battle on regarding the efficacy of distance learning, the problem with keeping at risk children away from school, and or, how long this model of learning is sustainable for both teachers and students. One thing is for certain, parents have the final say about brick and mortar vs. virtual learning. God bless all who are trying to cope with formal education in these uncertain times.

As educators, we support our fellow teachers and administrators as they work tirelessly to rise to the task at hand and we want to remind all of you to take the time to perform self-care, including reaching out to other teachers to share strengths, weaknesses, and good old fashioned moral support.

Much has been asked of you, and as always, you rise to the challenge!!

 Keep on keep'n on!!

All the best from Lisa, Tosha and the Wright Stuff Chics team!!
